Spring Fling Was a Blast!

We had a wonderful Spring Fling on May 5. Thank you to everyone who was there and if you weren't there, know that it would have been even better if you had been. Try to make it next year!

We previewed the new poster, designed by the very talented Fiona McAuliffe. You can see it on our website at oregoncountryfair.org. Steve Wisnovsky told everyone how beautiful the site is now, we laughed ourselves silly at a Reverend Chumleigh's performance, [experienced &] danced to Theurgic Seed, and cheered ourselves and our friends in the video crew's offering of glimpses of Fair 2000. The raffle, too, was a great success, netting $475, which helped pay for the band and the WOW Hall rental.

There are many people to thank, including the above suspects. Dick Stewart and Andy Strickland put up the banners, Marshall Landman, Mary Shuler and Shelley Winship staffed the raffle table, Denny Guehler was again the "Voice of the Spring Fling," and Bob Fennessey booked and took care of "Theurgic Seed." Coordinating an event is a piece of cake when you have peaches like this doing the real work.
