untitled (freedom)

this was the earth this was the sky this was the land these were the stars
this was our home we were not wise this was the earth this was the sky

COME INSIDE THE MUSEUM OF TIME
ENVISION THE WORLD THAT CREATED OUR KIND
BONES AND FEATHERS, COLORS IN DUST
ALL THAT IS LEFT OF US...

feel the walls crawling in- my breath's becoming short
the "freedom" that only exists in my state of slavery
the borders that surround and save me from hurting myself
the deeds, the trusts, the fences, jumping and running out of control
the specialization of the land- the borders that have been set here before me
I move and I lose my control I wanna know how I'm gonna find my way out...

WALK OUTSIDE THE MUSEUM OF TIME
AN UNTITLED (FREEDOM) THEY'LL BE ABLE TO FIND
KNOT IN A STONE, PETAL AND TREE
RIGHT THERE DEEP INSIDE OF THEE
OR DID THEY FIND THEMSELVES AWAITING
DID THEY FIND, DID THEY SEE, DID THEY KNOW
TURN THE TABLES ON THEIR OWN DEMISE
CIRCUMVENT THE CIRCULAR DIVIDE
OR DID THEY FIND THEMSELVES AWAITING
WAITIN'...FOR SOMEONE TO CARE
